WORKING STUDIOS

This one of a kind cooperative offers a space for local creative souls to gather, to create and to support one another. We offer space for potters, weavers and metalsmiths to get their hands dirty and make some art! For a small annual fee plus the cost of materials you can become an island artist as well. We welcome and encourage all skill levels, and when grant money allows, our studio managers offer mentorships to those interested in pursuing a new craft.

CERAMICS

Woods Hall features hand-thrown and hand-built pottery which has been designed, formed, glazed and fired in our own studio. We also sell unique designs from our potters' personal studios.

Items range from the functional, like teapots, mugs and tableware, to the decorative, sculptural and whimsical.

WEAVING

Woods Hall features woven items created in our studios, on looms of all types, shapes and sizes. We also sell designs from our weavers' own studios.

We stock a variety of rugs, from ones for your living room, to ones just the right size for the galley of your boat!

There are runners, and pillows, and ponchos, and shawls and scarves, too. You never know what you will find when you visit our shop!

JEWELRY

Woods Hall features hand-crafted jewelry. The materials, fabrication and design are limited only by the imagination of the designers.

New to Woods Hall in 2018 is the addition of a small jewelry studio. Our studio provides a space for local jewelers to fabricate out of sheet and wire, sculpt out of PMC and explore the vast options afforded by working in such an ancient craft.
