Black Bears and Blueberries Publishing
Thomas D. Peacock and Elizabeth Albert-Peacock

Native books by Native writers and illustrators. Culturally relevant and reasonably priced children’s and adult books.
We started our company in 2018, publishing our first books in 2019. We both retired from the University of MN Duluth and wanted to give Native writers a voice. We have published 29 books so far and have 8 in progress. They will be available in April 2023.
Our ancestors are from Madeline Island. We live on the Red Cliff Reservation in Little Sand Bay.
We love Woods Hall, so many beautifully hand-crafted items, works of art, and wonderful people to work with. Truly a treasure chest of gifts! All of our books are for sale at Wood’s Hall, priced from $10 to $17.95.
Thomas Peacock’s books are signed copies.
