Join our August featured artist Carol Wright for a workshop on August 9 from 10 a.m.-4p.m. Using slabs of clay, participants will learn the basics of hand building to make vases or vessels. We will decorate the vessels using underglazes, colored slip or underglaze transfers. We will learn the method of sgraffito, a technique where contrasting layers of slip or underglaze are scratched away to reveal the clay color underneath.
All supplies, firings and glaze will be provided.
Cost is free—just bring your creativity!
